I don't see what's wrong with using Z-poxy or any other 30 minute epoxy with some glass fibre mixed in. Simple, cheap and strong as.

No need for expensive solutions here. And remember, the glue...

Actually, warming the packs before use in cold weather is good for them. You can actually damage the packs under high discharge in cold weather. By warming them you will also notice a 20-30% power...

Puffing packs is not limited to the Neu... Out-runners are more demanding on the batteries and can have higher peak currents. I think puffing is more likely to be caused by leaving the packs fully...

Hi Brian,

I use either 3mm or 4-40 titanium turnbuckles with Dubro ball joints. Do a search on Tower Hobbies for titanium turnbuckles and heaps will turn up at all different lengths and sizes....

Yes, it should be at 90 degrees. Looks like you'll need to lengthen the linkage and find a spline that gives you 90 degrees. I normally use a Hitec servo programmer to set the pulse width to 1.5ms...
