I used the Evolution 26 engines and have had one flight, plenty of power. Installed twin synch but have not used yet, able to match engines without. Used Sierra gear, great gear. No flying here...

Ibelieve firewall diameter (the flat area is 113 mm or 4.454 inches. I used Evolution 26 engines with their radial mount and had plenty of flat area.

I used Sierra's gear. One landing on test flight worked fine, but not really a test as landing very smooth by Pete Rosas.

I balanced last week on ez balancer and then checked with suspended method. With gear up I moved battery and balanced at 117 mm. With gear down cg moves forward 10 mm. Weighed just over 30 pounds...

I used 1/4" plywood plus a 1/16" shim and clear just fine. Tire diameter?I am using 4.5" or else your plane is fabricated differently. Mine is +/- 3 5/8" from top to top of original i/4"...

Let us know where you mount your air tank. I have ben contemplating mounting in the nose above the retract and steering linkage. Sierra gear clearly is the solution.
