Use larger capacity battries, plus more cells for speed,until your heart can't stand it:D. The stock motor can get pretty wild with large capacity/high end batterys/even lipo's! Higher Mah =Longer...

Thanks for the info,Ryan! Yeah there is NO substitute for good batterys. I like the Ni Mi battery's (good one's) as you can beat them like a dead horse,and they come back for more. Lipo's are great...

They should be good for 34-35amps. That's kinda thin for the SV. I don't have any amp numbers for the boat,but it uses a 45amp water cooled ESC. Maybe some on here has the numbers,most run lipo's in...

Yeah,it really ran well,it might not be the right setup for a little chop on the water though. I tried something else,that might have helped keep the water out. I cut some fuel tubing about 1/8 inch...
