I think I'm going to try the Venom 4980Kv it's one of the 20mm x 40mm motors

2.3mm shaft Brushless Motors for Hobby Lobby's 66mm EDF unit?

I'm thinking about getting the Hobby Lobby Thunderbird EDF, but am worried that I won't be able to upgrade the motor. I can't find many other motors with 2.3mm shafts. Is there some way i can modify...
