RE: CRRC GF45i

This surging problem in the air is most likely due to the air gap between the magnet and the hall-effect sensor. When the engine unloads in the air it achieves a higher RPM and transitions faster to...

RE: CRRC GF45i

Hello CRRCers,
I haven't posted on this thread in a while because it seems that there are plenty of opinions and good ideas by now (after 69+ pages of info). After almost 3 years of working with...

RE: CRRC GF45i

Hi Kerry,
If you have the gray box this is definitely a V2 engine and depending on the age it could be a early V2 that had some problems. Use XJets description to check for spark and if it is no...

RE: CRRC GF45i

Hi JoeVen,
It is difficult to tell from the pictures but the spark plug looks like a nice light brown/ tan color which would be a good sign of not being overheated just before the spark plug was...

RE: CRRC GF45i

Hi Craig,
If you have replaced the bearings and left all the seals on front and back you will experience a definite decrease in performance. If I am reading your post correctly you now have 5...

There is a Pitts muffler available that is quieter and provides more power. No worries about breakage here - we worked with Slimline to produce this one. Check it out on...

RE: CRRC GF45i

RE: CRRC GF45i

Hi Doug,
It sounds like you are working with a version 1 GF45i. The newer ignitions in the black case are a big improvement over the one you are using with much less RF leakage. If you can't get...

RE: CRRC GF45i

Hi Craig and Rich,
Rich, I am very suspicious of your ignition module on your v2. If you have a timing light, you can check the timing and see if it is stable. One other thing to try is removing...

RE: CRRC GF45i

Hi,
No, we haven't experienced this but we do not grind - we smooth using a small sanding drum. These ports need very little work.
