Here are a couple of shots of my rebuilt Tiger 1.20 at Plat I in central Oregon. At 14 pounds in flies like a pattern plane, and the GMS 1.20 is perfect for it.

The original Sea Dancer was a 60 size build-it-yourself kit. RCM has the plans and Hobby Lobby kitted it. The kit went out of production 10 or 15 yrs ago.

Here is my Sea Dancer 120, rebuilt and re-engined with a Moki 180. With a 96" wingspan, it is a big airplane and a majestic flyer.

Seems to fly OK also. I don't see any significant elevator correction in the flying shot.

To be more precise, you should always set the zero lift angle of attack of the wing positive to the top of the floats. However, the zero lift angle of attack of a flat bottom wing is somewhere...

It is easy to be a Monday morning quarterback, and I suspect you already know what went wrong. It's clearly shown in the second photo.

You used full up elevator to get the plane off the rough...
