Yes put a new gasket in and put thin film of 534 on both sides of the gasket. Make sure you clean off old gasket remnants on the head and the crank case.

When putting on a head gasket smear a thin film of Loctite 534 - Hi Tack on the gasket. Just a question though, your one is a new truck why are you having to replace the head gasket so soon?
