I have yet to put a Gyro in anything I fly, however that doesn't make it wrong. I haven't seen any bad ground handling takeoff or landing on this bird and I consider myself a mediocre pilot at best.

Im going to strip off the covering on my other one and glass it. Im not going to start until i get my custom made retracts. Besides i have another Monster Wulf on the build table to keep me busy.

I just glassed under the mount. I think the parts are available on the robart site. I had to call for the upper struts, but the blocks and frames are on the site.

I have the struts a couple time in hard crosswind landing... 15 mph cross wind that one I probably shouldn't have flown in but I had a new motor and didn't want to go to a fly in without at least one...
