Thing is, I've never heard of anyone with CVDs popping out, nor are mine even close to doing so.

Do you have the (original) longer arms and CVDs, or the short arm/CVD set?

I stripped mine too (might have said so early in this build thread). If you get replacement ones and use a dab of grease on the tip, it helps a lot. I can't recall the replacement screws I used...

Bringing this thread back to life!

Currently I'm running some cheapo (Tower Pro?) servo in my 801xt. It's a bit jittery when you lift it off the ground (but driving it seems ok).

Have you had any issues with those maximizers, now that you've run them a bit on the 801xt? The only reason I ask is that once upon a time I unknowingly bought a set of those, along with some HPI GT...
