Short video with the custom wheelie bar. You can pretty much wheelie down the entire street with proper throttle control.

These will work for XC/Willy etc. I have them on the Touareg. They are 66mm.

Blade 400 is a Horizon hobby product they won't have it on Towers. But this should do as well.

Well LB I figured it out for the Traxxas wheels.

4x blade 400 retaining collar.
8x 5mm washers
and either the Blade 400 main shaft or the mini titan main shaft. The blade 400 one is cheaper...

The 5mm collars can be found from large heli parts. I just can't find a local source of rods.

I just have a Trinity Co27 Pro stock in there. It was an old motor lying around.

Definitely smaller. They are not that much bigger than the stock ones.

That depends how you define fit. It is in there tight. The back cover don't fit on it anymore. Not that it matters since the battery don't budge. I may still end up modding it so the cover can go on....

Improved wheelie bar is complete. Approximately 42355 times better than stock. I will post the pics tomorrow.

I ran it in the basement with everything mounted. Still need to detail the body but it worked good. Wheelies instantly. I think I can make a better wheelie bar with a longer metal rod and a couple...

Well mine is almost ready for action. I relubed everything and added bearings+cva shocks. Put a Co27 motor I had lying around in it. Now I just gotta figure out a better wheelie bar and fix the poor...

Yea I wonder about that too. Doesn't seem to make sense nowadays. I mean it's not like the days where everything Tamiya was made in Japan. They can surely outsource some bearings.

Stupid question guys. Did the tranny come with bearings inside? Trying to avoid taking it apart. I tried searching this thread but the search function is broken.
