2409-12 is a good motor, cheap and quick, i wouldnt go anything less than a 1600kv motor, I am currently running a 2250kv motor and the cessna humps alkong nicely ;)

nah forget this 2S stuff, i use minimum 3S and dont have any problems at all with weight!! on a plane like a cessna it has so much lift that it wont matter a bit.

3S is a much better option.

hey guys, well ive been so busy I havnt even charged a battery in 3 months Ive got my cessna with brushless, flaps etc just sitting there looking at me..lol I guess ill get back out one of these...

well done...try landing with about 1/4 throttle, then just as you are about to touch down (about 3 feet off the ground) cut the throttle and land it...this is the best way...but I have flaps on mine...

Im running 2200mah LIPOs in my cessna and there is NO difference in flying characteristics compared to a 1500 or 1800mah and i get so much longewr flight time.

All I buy is 2200 lipos for all my...

yes it will work, the difference is you dont need to thrash full throttle all the time. if the motor blows then it is 5 bucks for a new one.

or go a brushless for less than 20 bucks incl ESC!!!...

shoot for a 1800mah 11.1v 3s lipo and a charger that has a digital screen on it with auto shutoff.

nope both items are cheap crap and I can assure you that you will pop that battery if you charge with that charger!!

You need a charger that auto stops and you can select the charge rate like a...

Most propellers come with adapter rings that secure the prop onto the shaft, APC props is one such brand. But that prop adapter on ebay will also work.

yes.. I charge all my lipos with my swallow 2, I use deans plugs and charge at 1C (1800mah Lipo charged at 1.8 amps)

I run 1800 mah lipos in thecessna, if you trim the front of the battery...

id say 5 mins MAX! with about 20% of its potential power...do yaself a favour..if you dont want to use lipo...atleast get new intellect nimh or saomthing..the stock ego battery wouldnt power a 3V LED...

best to mount the esc in the area behind the firewall

yeah don't worry too much about that...its in the air you want to concentrate on, mine is all over the shop on the ground but once in the air it is fine...just adjust rudder or ailerons manually...
