You can get longer cap screws from Micro Fasteners, or McMaster Carr. Also you could re-tap the backing plate with a #8x32 tap, use a good cutting oil. You should for sure use the backing plate. RCV...

Ironic,

How is your RCV SP 1.20 run, I will bet it's a smoother after 1 gallon of fuel. Mine is all broke in and is turning a 16.5X12 3 blade propeller at 5400 RPM. These are so cool.

I would not break in that RCV engine mounted to your airframe. I will shake it apart. Engine needs to run on test stand for at least 1 hour, two is better. Bolts come loose on test stand with five...
