You'll have more drag with the fake duct open than if you just leave it alone.

Unless you plan to put in a smoothe duct work you'll have the airsteam impinging on every little barb or...

Keep checking the AK Models website. He has an F-16 propjet in the pipeline. If it flies as well as the Mig and SU it'll be a hit.

You may get more top speed with the 12X12 prop but your acceleration may suffer. And acceleration is what you want on a short runway

The missile rails can be left off. You can probably get away with leaving the belly fins off as well. If you're worried about them getting ripped off, make up a ply set the same size and shape,...

It went lean when the glowplug/head bolts loosened up. It was sucking air in through those leaks.

Just check everything over before flight and make sure it's all tight and it shouldn't happen...
