I wouldn't be too concerned about building light behind the center of gravity. You are most likely going to replace wood weight with lead if you go too light.

If I remember right, the Goldberg cowl is wider, like about 3/4". They are not interchangable.

I bought a Super Cub cowl for my Goldberg at Fiberglass Specialties since I put flaps on it.

I have one of my boxes packed with 8 models and I finish up the other box tomorrow. Then it's shipped to Anchorage where I hope I cna get them on Alaska Air down...

If you have a kit, have access to an overseas factory and can ship it to China, probably $400 plus shipping

I had a professional builder build a TF 182 for me and it was about $900 plus shipping...
