Did you try to run a continuous pin through both frame to see if the bushings are parallel or the pins are off in the trunion? Might help you to determine where the error is.

Do the slot. When someone gets down on all 4s to look up the intake guve them a swift kick. Besides that you would only be able to see the hinge when the gear is up

One thing I have done with hollow cf rods is to put a wooden dowel in the ends of the tubes. It allows you to drill through the rod and wood without worrying about breaking the cf rod.

Hysol actually makes a good filler for the joint....

Hysol actually makes a good filler for the joint. Packing tape with a coat of PVA on the joint pieces. Sands easily but makes a hard corner that is pretty dingproof

At the very least a separate air system for nose gear with a high flow valve. Not a Xicoy as theybare 100# limited. Jettronics makes a high flow up to 150#.
