RE: Bob Cat Copy Falcon 120 Jet

It was the video of yours that inspired me to get one. Just got to get it finished.

RE: Bob Cat Copy Falcon 120 Jet

I'm using a Ram 750 in mine and early indications are that I'll need all the weight up front I can get.

RE: Bob Cat Copy Falcon 120 Jet

Cody,
I suspect you have the flap servos Y'd from the flap channel on the receiver with one of the Hitec's reversed with a programmer. As Tim says a stalled servo or one that is working extra hard,...

RE: Bob Cat Copy Falcon 120 Jet

Cody - I tend to think the problem is more electrical related. If you're using just one receiver battery make sure it's fully charged before each flight. Also you might just try a different type of...

RE: Bob Cat Copy Falcon 120 Jet

I bought the carbon rod described above and it fits perfectly. It seems to be much stronger than the aluminum spar and weights the same - 3.1 oz. I put a stress test on both spars and can tell the...

RE: Bob Cat Copy Falcon 120 Jet

Congrats Derrick - Nice job. The GPS is a clever touch. I understand about the airspeed. My Kingcat went 198 with a P120 in just a slight decent. Nice looking Falcon as well. Did you have any...

RE: Bob Cat Copy Falcon 120 Jet

Here's what I did for fuel and cockpit. the Jet-Tec fuel tank has 96 oz capacity. It is obviously much more expensive that a juice bottle but I needed the extra capicity for my Ram 750. Also it does...

RE: Bob Cat Copy Falcon 120 Jet

Hey thanks - Sounds pretty much like I have planned. I may try to get a little more fuel. That Ram is pretty thirsty, although probably won't be running it at fulll throttle very much.

RE: Bob Cat Copy Falcon 120 Jet

Vettdriver - Congratulations on getting her down safely.
I have the latest Falcon 120 Pro (not started) and a Ram 750 in a box. There's a lot of info on this thread, some have done some mods and...
