I already did that deed ---
They are like my sample shown with the short pipe - the heqader ends 5" before any end restriction --then there is a baffle up front with small dia tubes ...

The one you show is the non tuned muffer -having a long distance from end of open pipe to end of can.
On mine, the pipe is quite close (under 1/2" from end of can/ reflector.)

We made our own cans - using same principle -but different technique - works great .
they were larger but noise level was reduced
these are similar to the magic mufflers and the...
