That's an MVVS 1.60.

I have *4* of these engines.

One was on an old-style Ultrastick 1.20 - it turned an APC 16x8 8800 with a full-length tuned pipe and about 8200 with a Bisson muffler. ...

I assume that when you say it acts like a "slipped clutch" you mean that it makes a heap of noise, smokes, and goes nowhere?

That's a great mental image. I'm picturing a Honda-style launch......

Two problems

- they weren't metal-geared (!)
- static centering on them was *awful* - bang and recenter the stick and they'd wobble 'round center for a second or so.

He plans to order...

Maiden (successful) flight of my clubmate's F90 today!

Specs :
F90, built stock w/ no mods other than a Sullivan tailwheel
YS 1.20 with custom exhaust (open stack, no muffler) & a Zinger...

Yes. One of my flying mates had that engine on his first Funtana 90. No pump, tank behind the firewall, pitts muffler. It flew quite well. First attempts at hovering were mixed, as he had a prop...
