RE: WACO YMF

Here are some pics of a beautiful Pica 1/5 WACO that I saw at the AMA show this year. Great detail work. I'd be afraid to fly it!

RE: WACO YMF

Can anyone tell me if a saito 90 twin will fit in the cowling of the Pico 1/6 Waco and if you happen to know, how's the power for that plane?

Thanks,

RE: WACO YMF

Now I see that someone is planning to make cowls for this model as...

RE: WACO YMF

Hello gang,

Well I flew my recently purchased 1/5 scale YMF today for the first time today and I have a few questions. I bought this plane off the internet, so I couldn't see the problems until...

RE: WACO YMF

Hey guys,

I didn't want to take the time to read all the way thruough this lengthy and informative thread to see if someone else had done this or not, but I have the Pico YMF-3 1/5th scale plans...

Has anyone run the OS 120FT twin four stroke in this plane. It's the same size as the current 160FT but 15% less power. My airframe weighs 10.5...

RE: WACO YMF

There was a beautifully well done scale YMF at the AMA show this year. Easily the nicest I've seen. I've attached a few pics showing the detail in the stiching for the covering and the corregated...

RE: WACO YMF

I was planning on using the OS 120 twin, thinking that the outer dimensions were the same as the 160 twin. I know that the twins are usually less powerful than the same sized single. I bought the...

RE: WACO YMF

Hey guys,

Will an OS 120 FT (four stroke twin) fly thePica 1/5 scale WMF at 13-14 lbs or is it too little motor?

I want scale speed of course, but looping power would be nice too.

RE: WACO YMF

So has anyone had experience with electrifying one of the 1/6 scale YMFs? It's quite a drive to the nearest gas field for me,so I thought I'd give electric a shot. Sure gonna miss that 4 stroke...

RE: WACO YMF

Although I've owned a Pica 1/5 scale YMF kit for a few years, I can officially join the brotherhood now as I've bought two previously owned Wacos - both 1/5th and 1/6th scale. The 1/6th will be...
