RE: GP Patty Wagstaff - Building & Flying

Capital letters is yelling, not needed.

The DA 50 is the most popular engine by far, but not the only choice. This I know because I have supplied at least a 100 sets of standoffs for this...

RE: GP Patty Wagstaff - Building & Flying

Comon, that is not called for. There are many on this thread that can answer questions, if you don't like answering, you don't have to.
BTW, I did not build or fly the patty, but the way that I...

RE: GP Patty Wagstaff - Building & Flying

You know the bottom line is who cares if the questions has been asked and answered before, does it really matter??
If one person doesn't feel like answering it, then let someone else answer it.

RE: GP Patty Wagstaff - Building & Flying

I'm quite sure about this for the Basic and Sportsman sequences, and possibly the Intermidiate sequences.

In IMAC, you are allways going forward and not like the 3D stuff where you need raw...

RE: GP Patty Wagstaff - Building & Flying

Lars,
The ZDZ 40 should be quite adequate if your friend is only doing IMAC. If he wants to get into heavy 3D stuff, the ZDZ 50, or DA do or quite a few of other larger engine should be...

RE: GP Patty Wagstaff - Building & Flying

My question, is why such large batteries on such a small airplane. you only need under 1000ma for ignition on single cylinder engines, and as for the receiver battery, a 2700 would be plenty.
That...

RE: GP Patty Wagstaff - Building & Flying

RE: GP Patty Wagstaff - Building & Flying

If its failsafe you want, you don't need PCM anymore. Multiplex IPD receiver or the FMA copilot (both PPM) are better at failsafe and better receivers.

RE: GP Patty Wagstaff - Building & Flying

It depends if you like to build a bit, I am using Boost Tabs (http://www.geocities.com/roger_forgues/Boost-tabs.html) to help the servos. Been doing this for a long time and it really works.
