I have found that these motors have the same input capacity as a speed 300 but they fit in a 280 gearbox. If you use the above set-up you could get 12oz of thrust. Or build a largish slow flyer for...

Try on of those motors at the site above. Run it on 7x720 NiMH with a 9x6 APC e-prop. Great setup for anything less that 14oz and more that 200sq.in. of wing.

What brand of gearbox is it? There is a motor available that has the power of a speed 300 but fits in press-fit speed 280 gearboxes. Most people use the MPJet 5:1 gearbox with this motor and a APC...
