RE: Falcon 40 (Exceed heli) Forum

The T-Rex will always be 3D at heart but if you don't use symmetrical blades, you won't be able to do 3D. This doesn't help you learn or fly any better though. Just start with a Falcon and see how...

RE: Falcon 40 (Exceed heli) Forum

Hey army21, I agree with Bones27, training gear is too hard to train with lol. I never used it on my Falcon when I got it. You also have to get off the ground faster. Just jump two feet off the...

Sorry MiniCwik, they got rid of the indoor facility and they used to have a flying field too. That was also gotten rid of. :(

RE: Falcon 40 (Exceed heli) Forum

I go to Dirt Burner (or Burners, can't remember) Racing for all my car needs. They're getting a new track somewhere in Novi. They said it was almost finished but then again, they said it was almost...

RE: Falcon 40 (Exceed heli) Forum

I started flying since January 06. Never give up! Never surrender!

The ICE is an amazing charger. I highly recommend it. You will need the $80 Hobbico power supply to power it though ($200...

My charger it valued at $155 lol. I have an ICE charger and an Equinox balancer and the 2S-6S high power tap/plug set. :D I can now charge anything I could ever want now or in the future.

RE: Falcon 40 (Exceed heli) Forum

I haven't quite perfected my nose-in while hovering yet. I can do it but not for long periods of time. My circuit was done going forward and then I gave it some left rudder to make the circle witch...

RE: Falcon 40 (Exceed heli) Forum

Circuit means like an oval/circle. Like a road race circuit track. It just means a circle flown/driven in laps.

My caliper cost me $60 but I think it's worth the price for what I got.

RE: Falcon 40 (Exceed heli) Forum

It's normal for any FP heli to lose attitude when you try and do anything but hover. I was out last Sunday buzzing around at I soccer field I found just a mile away from my house and I was already...

RE: Falcon 40 (Exceed heli) Forum

I can't add to whatever the current discussion is about, but I'd just like to say, I still fly my Falcon! I have no idea how long its been since I've had a heli question. The Falcon is great! It's...

RE: Falcon 40 (Exceed heli) Forum

I can help you hover, rc-jj. This is the technique that finally got me into the air about 1 year ago. Here's what you do: apply throttle until you get light on the skids, not scooting around light...

You should also get new servos. I use two Hitech HS-55's and they work great.

RE: Falcon 40 (Exceed heli) Forum

Too bad about your IC. [:o] That's a bit of bad luck. You have to buy the metallic tail boom separately. It's called Super-Boom and it sells for $14.95.

I put the metal rotor head core on my...

RE: Falcon 40 (Exceed heli) Forum

I can't find a good summer job yet but, it'll be a little longer anyways before I have the beach house. :)

RE: Falcon 40 (Exceed heli) Forum

I know what you mean by taking the canopy off and flying away. I did that by accident, lol, at least I recovered without any blade strikes or boom strikes.

I just got my rotor head core...

RE: Falcon 40 (Exceed heli) Forum

Take my advice: never fly the Falcon in any wind! I broke my rotor head core when my Falcon weather veined only a foot off the ground. That metal rotor head is looking real good right now. I'm...

Umm, what "V"? Gusset? What you say? Pics would really help along with a lengthy explanation of how to do this, what I'm doing and proof that you've done it and it's only been helpful to you and your...

RE: Falcon 40 (Exceed heli) Forum

Finally! Off the ground again! And yes, this time I really flew. I flew like I never flew this bird before!

I replaced the "better", metal rotor head core with a "bad", stock rotor head core and...

RE: Falcon 40 (Exceed heli) Forum

My blades are fine, my fly bar is balanced, I'm just going to get a stock rotor head core and see what happens when I put that on. Has anyone used the new Walkera rotor head? It looks better than the...

RE: Falcon 40 (Exceed heli) Forum

HELP!

My Falcon still wobbles when I try to fly it. I found the problem though. It's because the fly bar can travel more because the new rotor head core allows for more up and down travel...
