i`m still here reading and i still have my .5. i just haven`t played with it in a few weeks.
this weekend for sure i`ll be breaking it out along with some of my other nitro stuff.

hows your .5 running???
mine is fine. the only problem i got is that damm tank cap leak.
but the rubber band trick is working ok for me.

that set up works good for me. i only bash my .5 too.
we don`t have a class for it to race.
i ran 4 tanks thur my .5 yesterday. all is good. no problems.

you will want to check the oil in the diffs. not much oil in there. i only had a drop in mine.
i went for 3k rear 3k middle and 1k front.

i have the pro kit. but i don`t do any upgrades until something breaks.
i wait until i find a weak point or parts that wear out fast and go from there.

that looks like a better and easier to fill fix.
but don`t nitro fuel eat the rubber bands.

i got a jammin 12 and jp-5 pipe from my LHS for 100$.
i put it in and 10 seconds on the starter wheel she fired right up
and idled right thru the first tank with...

i`ll try bending the spring for a better fit.

i know what you guys are saying.
that guy don`t know how to break in an engine.
i have over 12 nitro cars and trucks and never had that hard of time getting an engine
to run the first time....
