from experience, i find that the tanks drain best...

from experience, i find that the tanks drain best when pulling from wing tank first, then fuselage tank second. Its also a neater set up and allows you to run the vent out of the bottom of the wing...

Has anyone found the saddle tanks to being prone to cracking / leaking ? The ones I had ( used for smoke) needed to be reinforced a bit.

Crow is not about adding drag as much as it is about reducing lift. If lift is reduced by a certain margin, this leaves a more positive feeling on landing, and a larger speed envelope to perform...

I found my UF landed best with Crow. I actually needed it with the residual thrust off of my Rhino, otherwise it floats on and on .. I can't wait to get my 2nd flash in the air.

I run a 170 as well, fully bypassed and with FOD . No problems at all :) ... You can also cut a few round holes in the bypass cover both forward of the intake and slightly behind the lip of the FOD...

agree 100% ... the fuel will follow the path of least resistance, sp poking a hole in it, negates the function of the felt clunk ..

The fuel pump has incredible suction and should not be...

@bigbri the UF will snap pretty well .. not a blur fast not a lighting fast blur of a snap, but it will snap nicely. recovery is effortless. Nose drops out on its own ... similar with spins , but...

Yes, the UF will fly fast on most power .. 17 - 37 lbs .. all good .. but its about how quickly it gets up to speed, how fast it will climb vertically ( or not :D ) and also when pulling through...

these are the new smoke/fuel saddle tanks from CARF for the Flashes ( regular and UF)

Its a super tight fit, but...
