RE: Hangar 9 Twist 3D

Flying wires are not needed on this plane. Repair it and it will be fine. Both coverings are the same, just different companies. How about some clear tape if your repairing a wing? Its hard to...

RE: Hangar 9 Twist 3D

Zeek, I don't think I understand why you are trying to fly an aerobatic plane, when it sounds like you don't know how to fly a plane. I gather this by your questions such as "how to take off?" This...

RE: Hangar 9 Twist 3D

Take a plastic bag with you, you'll need it if you attempt a flight by yourself.
Have a qualified member of your club take it up first and have him/her stand with you on you first few flights. ...

RE: Hangar 9 Twist 3D

Our club has a rule that all new aircraft must be checked out and flown by our Chief Flying Instructor. This rule has saved many aircraft since many faults have been found before flight.

RE: Hangar 9 Twist 3D

I believe this plane was manufactured tail heavy to accomidate larger engines. H9 is assuming we will be overpowering these planes. My Twists box says up to a .58 2-stroke, I put a .61 on mine and...

RE: Hangar 9 Twist 3D

A 12.25x3.75 APC for a .61 might not be enough. I just installed a ST .61 with a 14 X 4W APC and will be testing today. Balanced 4.5'' without any wieght added.
Beware of the wing bolt-doesn't...
