RE: Thunder tiger ST-1

Hey Fellas,

I sold the ST-1 and ordered the Hyper ST Pro Kit. There was nothing wrong with the ST-1, I just like to try different brands and the Hyper ST just looked so sweet. The ST-1 was an...

RE: Thunder tiger ST-1

I wanted to try a new truck after the winter, but my wife is pregnant and due in November. I'm on borrowed time. I want to get a new truck and play a lot of golf before the baby is born, because I...

RE: Thunder tiger ST-1

The LRP Z.28 runs great. It has good top and bottom end. You can get some great run times when the engine is broken in. I am going to stick with this engine for a while. It seems to be just as good...

RE: Thunder tiger ST-1

Zonk,

I've had both the Cen RTR and Cen Pro Kit Matrix 1/8 buggy. The ST-1 diffs are much easier to work on. The center diff can be changed by only only removing the top portion of the center...

RE: Thunder tiger ST-1

I originally had the #1, but it looked kinda weird after I put it on the body. Most NASCAR fans love #8, so I went with a safe bet.

RE: Thunder tiger ST-1

It's probably your switch. I had that same experience a while back with a switch. I forgot the brand, but the on/off switch was very easy to move. It would cut off during big jumps. I replaced it and...

RE: Thunder tiger ST-1

It is the Crowd Pleazer for Jammin CRT. I really like the look of the ST-1 bodies, but they are so thin and crack easily. I wish someone made a thicker version. I'll probably stay with the CP bodies.

RE: Thunder tiger ST-1

Dirt,

How is that RR running? I bought a RR, but sold it before I ever ran it. It rained here in June for a month straight, so I had a lot of free time and for some strange reason a lot of...

RE: Thunder tiger ST-1

Bottom. A lot of people have had that same problem. Once I move the shocks to inside hole, I never had it pop out again.

RE: Thunder tiger ST-1

Move your rear shocks to the inside hole. That will eliminate the dogbone problem.

RE: Thunder tiger ST-1

I decided not to sell it. I have so many of the upgrades on my RTR, that getting the Pro Kit would not be that beneficial. Instead I ordered the Axial .28 RR and the new Airtronics MX-3 2.4GHz Fast...

RE: Thunder tiger ST-1

I have seen that engine shread the transmission in the DTX Warhead and completly tear apart a Jammin CRT clutch bell and spur gear that was not meshed perfect. I would stick with the 16t bell. That...

RE: Thunder tiger ST-1

The problem is not your clutch, its your engine. That OS .30 is a torque monster. It puts a lot of stress on clutch shoes, springs, bearings, and diff cups. Also, if your gear mesh is off a little,...

RE: Thunder tiger ST-1
