Not to start an argument but I always strengthen the firewall and landing gear area on all my arfs. I have GP, H9, ESM, EF, Aeroworks and a couple more. I always add glue and if I can get there...

100 off is a good deal but it won't make or break this plane. There is still another 1200 at least to go for all the gear, probably more. This will be one of my more pricey models, but I got to see...

Electric retracts are just the same as air, they just have an electric motor where the air cylinder would be. I have replaced all mine for ease of use. I have an ESM Corsair, and FW190 and a H9...

I agree with it after I started looking at my other corsair. I have an ESM 74" corsair with a g38 in it and it flys great. That plane with seirra gear and a retractable tailwheel comes in at just...

RE: Hangar 9 60cc Corsair

While I wish this one was in the 800-900 range I don't think it will go down. To much interest in it. And it has to many features. I will be getting one after I finish a few more projects. Dang,...

RE: Hangar 9 60cc Corsair

I saw the evolution 77 radial fly it at the Nall and it looked good to me. It looked to be plenty of power on climbs and takeoffs, maybe more than some might like, but that is what they make a left...

RE: Hangar 9 60cc Corsair

Cool! Thank you. I believe this is going to be my winter project for next spring. I have the 30cc P-47 that I want to do first as soon as I get home. That one is going to be my fall project.

RE: Hangar 9 60cc Corsair

I do have one question on the retracts. Are they 90 or 100 degree?

RE: Hangar 9 60cc Corsair

From the info I have seen the DLE 60 twin won't fit unless the cowl is cut a little for the plug caps. And to me that would be perfect as It has right at 33 pounds static thrust. That will probably...

RE: Hangar 9 60cc Corsair

I read earlier 250mm. The new saito radial 84cc will just fit but not if add right thrust.

RE: Hangar 9 60cc Corsair

Well I just saw the link to that "other gaint site"! Lol. Did you have to buy a new ignition or were you able to convert the one that came with the engine? And what is the power compared to the...

RE: Hangar 9 60cc Corsair

WOW!! Looks like you soldered closed the plug holes and re drilled them at an angle. Would love to know more on this as this engine would be great for the corsair.

RE: Hangar 9 60cc Corsair

I wonder with all the what I would consider the premium engines for this corsair not able to fit by just hair, the saito 84, dle 60 twin, da 70 twin, heck i even looked at the zenoah gt 80, would...

RE: Hangar 9 60cc Corsair

I can't say 100% that there was not a midair, but I was there a few days and did not hear or see one. The ones I saw looked nice. I will be getting one for a future project.

RE: Hangar 9 60cc Corsair

Well after looking at the other models in this range, mainly the ESM corsair and the TF corsair I take back what I said about the weight. While heavier than the TF it is on par with the ESM. And...

RE: Hangar 9 60cc Corsair

I was less concerned about the price as I was about the weight. The 80 mustang they sell, which I have, came in at 15pounds 11ozs. And I used a dle 35 and robart electric retracts. This one is say...
