It did not have any nose over tendancies with the gear in the stock position.

I would recommend waiting before moving the gear. We put a Saito 82 and a 12oz tank and when it was all done, the CG machine showed it balanced perfect.

Only had to dremmel about a 1/4 inch off...

Got the cap built and we took it to the field yesterday. The only mods were Sullivan Tailwheel, Sullivan 12oz tank and we put a Saito 82 in it. Prop is a 14x6 and seems to be the right prop for it....

My saito 82 fired right up today. After double checking the high speed needle, it was FULLY CLOSED from the factory. The manual said DONT TOUCH IT AS IT IS PRESET, so I didnt. Once we figured this...

Another tip question, when wicking thin CA into the horizontal stab, any need to make any notches where the fuse and the stab touch to allow the CA to wick in or will in go in by itself. It just...

Thanks for the tips..my son and I have run trucks for the past few years and now doing the planes so all the tricks and tips I learned for the trucks seem to be useless.
