Top and bottom? My design has one 1/4" sq. balsa stick for a front spar. The total wing thickness is 3/8".

A thicker wing is not an option for this one. I may just go with a one CF spar (proven effective in my deltas) and one partial rear balsa spar.

Normally shear webs would have vertical grain between the spars forming a I-beam. My 1/4" spar does not allow this so I laminated a 1/4" sq. balsa stick on the front and back with 1/16" balsa. One...

From the replies here I am leaning towards a continuous spar. If I do that, I have some arrow shafts that I used in a delta that are incredibly stiff and strong compared to balsa and not that much...

Thanks for your reply. I thought about having the spar one piece and then I could just use a CF tube and not worry about hi G turns. That would leave the ribs in two pieces though. Am I safe to...
