I also add a stick shaker (3 times) to the alarm. If it's so noisy you can't hear the engine, you might not hear the aural flameout warning either.

Agreed. This was in reference to a third 2.4 mhz rx option mentioned earlier which, conceivably could have worked with the DS-16. Apparently not the case.
