Construction Pics of a Carden 35% Edge 540

I took the week off to have some quality time with my airplane :-).

And the other half of the wing still in the shuck and untrimmed. I meant to take a picture of all the cinder blocks on top of the wing but I'm not lifting those things back on the table. I used 6...

Construction Pics of a Carden 35% Edge 540

Finally, I had the time to get the wings sheeted. I took advantage of the 3 day weekend to lay out my servo wells, build some servo frames which I inserted into wings and then sheeted.

The...

Steve:

Construction Pics of a Carden 35% Edge 540

Hi Jeff:

I never considered cutting the plans, but it would make it easier. The first thing I did was to take the plans to a local blue print shop and make a copy. That way I'll have one good...

I just went through all my sheeting and I knew about one 4x48 balsa sheeting which is intended to be the wing root cap. However that is the only piece that has a precut hole.

I will need...

I've never had good luck cutting circles in balsa with an exacto knife without chipping it up.

I see in the...
