A few years ago, I put an XYZ 50 cc engine in my 4 * 120 (see post #333). I know these are not the most powerful engine , but vertical seemed to be unlimited. FUN to flyjb

The XYZ is a low end engine as far as $$$$ are concerned. There is never tooo much power. By the way, I still had to add weight to the nose.

I've got an XYZ 50cc in my 4*. Take off at part throttle and go UP from there.

What's the matter with a large engine?? If the plane will balance and you have prop clearance. I can control the throttle. Can you?

Why settle for 26ccSpend $20.00 more and use that 52cc overbore they show. I've got a 50cc xyz in mine (post 326). Compare the weight of the 26cc to the 52cc.

The firewall is set back approximately 3 1/2 inches to allow room for the ryobi. I made long stand-offs and made a motorplate to mount the engine with. I didn't use the XYZ mount.(didn't like the...

No, they are not in the tail. They are in a compartment on the bottom of the fuselage behind the wing. I know I could move them, but the lead was easier!!

I installed an XYZ 50cc in my 4 * 120. Its a blast to fly. The plane had a Ryobi in it (DUD)
