you'll find that closer to 100-200 RPM increase and not worth the effort.

the Jett Stream muffler is already tuned and adding a long pipe gives you no benefit.

RE: THE NEW CERMARK F-16 BUILD IT BETTER, STRONGER, AND FASTER!!!

first pic is our small field, where i typically fly at, we fly off the center pad. second one is the larger field, again we fly off the center section (you can see the tug tire swirls on the pad),...

RE: THE NEW CERMARK F-16 BUILD IT BETTER, STRONGER, AND FASTER!!!

I'm fortunate i guess, my small field is 300'x1500' concrete, the bigger one is 900'x2000', i can't bring myself to fly off grass, and people who have only flown off grass curse our concrete saying...

RE: THE NEW CERMARK F-16 BUILD IT BETTER, STRONGER, AND FASTER!!!

i had a Jett 90LX in mine, only mods were to the landing gear mounts, they are pure junk, i pulled the hot glue off mine, took them out and used them for templates and made new ones out of solid...

RE: THE NEW CERMARK F-16 BUILD IT BETTER, STRONGER, AND FASTER!!!

mine was just a little over 10 lbs, flew great. my SkyMaster and FEJ turbine versions were over 20 lbs dry with virtualy the same wing area and they flew great too.

RE: THE NEW CERMARK F-16 BUILD IT BETTER, STRONGER, AND FASTER!!!

depending on which paint scheme you're going with there are countless 1/8th scale turbine jets out there you can get decals for.

RE: THE NEW CERMARK F-16 BUILD IT BETTER, STRONGER, AND FASTER!!!

Up thrust would actually make the plane land easier for the novice as it would help hold the nose up and ballooning is caused by excessive air speed not up thrust, and just so you'll think I'm...

RE: THE NEW CERMARK F-16 BUILD IT BETTER, STRONGER, AND FASTER!!!

at or slightly in front of but never more then an inch or two, we're hauling 7-10 lbs of fuel and can't afford that much of a shift in CG as it burns off.

RE: THE NEW CERMARK F-16 BUILD IT BETTER, STRONGER, AND FASTER!!!

it's not just adding the 90 it's that the engine is mounted in the nose, that's allot of weight that far in front of the CG. my ducted fan F-16s easily balanced with minimal shifting of the...

RE: THE NEW CERMARK F-16 BUILD IT BETTER, STRONGER, AND FASTER!!!

you'd better stick with these 'Advanced' prop jets then, it's quiet common in turbines to add sometimes a pound. i prefer to move equipment but on both my Tam A-4s all the equipment was moved...

RE: THE NEW CERMARK F-16 BUILD IT BETTER, STRONGER, AND FASTER!!!

No i don't sorry but you stated this plane WON'T slow down and that is just simply not true. and if i come in too hot on an approach i simply side slip as well as pulling the nose up and she slows...

RE: THE NEW CERMARK F-16 BUILD IT BETTER, STRONGER, AND FASTER!!!

i have to strongly disagree with that. if you can't get it to slow down you're just too scared to pull the nose up to a high AOA like it should be.

RE: THE NEW CERMARK F-16 BUILD IT BETTER, STRONGER, AND FASTER!!!

sounds like you're leaning out. blowing the plugs out of the hole is an indication the head is getting extremely hot.

as far as the assembly, my 5 yr old could put it together, it's quiet...

RE: THE NEW CERMARK F-16 BUILD IT BETTER, STRONGER, AND FASTER!!!

you have to use one with the proper hub thickness to hold up to the RPM, during my ducted fan days, for brakeing in the engine on the stand i used a 15x8 APC and cut it down till you can get 20K RPM...

RE: THE NEW CERMARK F-16 BUILD IT BETTER, STRONGER, AND FASTER!!!
