RE: Larger Revolver

It would be an easy fix but I'm one of those guys that like my planes "pretty" So, I would want to match the monocoat and remove all of the old stuff and replace as I hate the look of patches. I may...

RE: Larger Revolver

Sorry to see that CARS II. Mine had a rough landing too, folding the landing gear and sent the pretty wheel pants right through my wings. I was disgusted and it still sitts in the dustiest corner of...

RE: Larger Revolver

Sorry to see that SpinnerRow... I found my Revolver very cappable with the control surfaces pretty much maxed out and the 26cc RCGF engine but everyone has their own opinion as to what is Aerobatic...

RE: Larger Revolver

Beautifull work Cars II. It will be worth the wait. I, due to military/family commitments, spent a year from start to maiden on my Revolver and was not disappointed by the results of my patients.

RE: Larger Revolver

I got to fly my Revolver finally! It is about a 1/4 inch nose heavy right now with the RCGF 26cc on the nose. I will have to build a battery slot/bracket a bit further back in the future so I can...

RE: Larger Revolver

My Revolver 70 is finally ready for its maiden flight! This plane has been about a year in the making for me but I finally have her together. The last hang up was that the magnet on the flywheel of...

RE: Larger Revolver

Well, the ignition modual is fine I found out after running some trouble shooting on it. I was spinning the engine over with a Sullivan Hi-Torque starter to the point I was getting raw fuel out of...

RE: Larger Revolver

Well as it turns out I don't think the neighbors would have minded me trying to run my engine at 1 am since it wont run. Thinking it's the ignition modual right now. Still investigating the problem.

RE: Larger Revolver

Any air foil can stall even if that airfoil is a flat surface. For example when a plane is hovering the ony surface that is not stalled is the prop. Tail hevy planes have a tendency to drop the tail...

RE: Larger Revolver

I'm sure that YS 1.20 would hover the Revolver 70. You just have a speed prop on it. For hovering you need a pulling torque prop. The recomended props for this engine are as follows:

15...

RE: Larger Revolver

This sounds like a "G-Stall" When you pull hard on the elevator increasing the weight of the plane w/ excesive G-force to the point the wings do not have enough area to produce enough lift to keep...

RE: Larger Revolver

Our feild is riddled with "clump weeds" and any one of wich can put your plane back up in the air as you can see in that video. I nail an almost perfect landing on the mains and during the roll out...

Thanks. You may want to wait until I fly this Revolver and report back before doing this conversion. If "the baby is ugly", I'll tell you it's ugly. In other words I do not sugar coat my flight...
