Hi skiman 762,Inlet tract bolt hole spacing at the cylinder is exactly 40 mm.

I wouldn't advise cutting down fins for performance or weight loss on this engine and really wasn't suggesting one should if it seemed that i was,if the fins weren't brocken i would have left them...

Only if the 3/32 line prevents you from having the ability to obtain a rich mix range at full throttle but i doubt you would have that problem.The only other reason would be if the3/32 line was...

Jack,

Good old fashioned hand filling and a bit of emery cloth/wet and dry paper to finish off.The casting is an aluminium alloy and the fins are very brittle.

Yep,but only due to neccessity,the cooling fins were cracked when it arrived due to poor packaging,so cleaned them up whilst rebuilding,and as a side note ,it was purchased second hand.If operated...

G'day Don,I have noticed on mine when turned slow through a complete revolution ie. much slower than a good flip it stays at the preset 28-30 degrees,it needs one good flip of the prop to retard.

The engine with the black cylinder you mentioned is a Peak models 45.

The NGK BPMR6A is a resistor plug,The "R" indicates the plug contains a resistor.The NGK BPM6A is the equivalent "Non-Resistor" plug.
