RE: Super Tune Your Super Vee 27

Well I finally received my SV27 replacement motor from Aquacraft after several weeks of waiting. But I've since fitted my boat with an aftermarket motor, so no need for this replacement. Anyone...

RE: Super Tune Your Super Vee 27

I think I'm going to go ahead and buy a Feigao 540S (16 wind) brushless and see how it goes. According to offshoreelectrics.com, the motor pulls a max of 41amps, and the stock SV27 ESC is rated up...

RE: Super Tune Your Super Vee 27

Grim, can you recommend a replacement motor we can use in the SV27 whilst we wait for a replacement from Hobbico?

RE: Super Tune Your Super Vee 27

By the way, is anyone interested in buying a spare set of electronics for their SV27? I replaced the stock servo, receiver and transmitter immediately after getting the boat, so they are all brand...

RE: Super Tune Your Super Vee 27

Good question and I want to know too. Hobbico said the best they could do is "backorder" the motor for me, so who knows how long that will take....? So can someone recommend a viable replacement? ...

RE: Super Tune Your Super Vee 27

Well just received my SV27 today and I regret to say that the motor gave up on the 3rd run. The water cooling just wasn't working properly. Well, the motor is going back to Hobbico.... and like...

RE: Super Tune Your Super Vee 27

So in that case would a 7-cell side-by-side pack fit into the boat properly?

RE: Super Tune Your Super Vee 27

Hey guys, about to start making some battery packs for my boat (7 cell packs). What is the best 7-cell pack config for the SV27? A straight 7 or 6 on bottom with the 7th on top?

RE: Super Tune Your Super Vee 27

Can somebody post a photo or just tell me how long the cable for connecting the battery pack is on the boat? I'm starting to build some battery packs for my coming sv27 and I'm not sure if the...

RE: Super Tune Your Super Vee 27

Really excited by all these reports and looked pretty fast in that video! I want to ask, if I don't have the specific grease used for R/C boat drive shafts, what could I use as a substitute? Would...

RE: Super Tune Your Super Vee 27
