They might appear the same but the Honey Bee is only running on 4.8 volt, 4 cell NI-MH. The Commander 2 runs 7.2 volt, 6 cell NI-MH and can be upgraded up to the 8.4 volt, 8 cell NI-MH. I can't speak...

Ah... I see now. I'll try the original plug with the Accu Cycle Elite and see if that charger can see it.
If not, I was looking at your picture and it looks as if you have diconnected the battery...

Was it not possible to use the original charging port and connector with your Triton?
