Torque them in a criss cross pattern so that its even pressure and just a little at a time..............if you have never done it before it would be good to have someone with experience show you ;)

The brown residue is either a leaky exhaust gasket or the head screws backed out a little.............pretty much normal [:-]

That torque pipe works much better on the smaller engines .12 & .15 it helps those high RPM engines with bottom end. Actually the stock pipe on the X-c is a very good pipe for it and so is the AE...

Work on that tuning a little more before you make any other adjustments..............if you went back to the original needle settings its all screwed up .......LOL [:-]
