RE: H9 Jackal 50 Prop Jet

I put mine in the tail. At first, was going to run #16 wire to the front. Instead I used servo wire. Ran 2 from the battery,
2 switches for redundancy and low loss, feeds 2 separate ports on the...

I've yet to see a post confirming that they measured as shown in the manual.

If using a 4 cell pack, try a 5 cell pack of your electronics can run on 6 volts.

I'm not using the stock...

RE: H9 Jackal 50 Prop Jet

That was my first option. I Ran down the connectors further.
I didn't use the stock setup. The "Y" pushrod had undersized threads on one side and was able to pull
off the clevis.

Be sure...

RE: H9 Jackal 50 Prop Jet

For battery selection, I usually wait to see what was needed to balance.
I'll use a 2 cell LIFE battery with dual switches, no regulator. The downside to this is that the balancing leads
need to...

RE: H9 Jackal 50 Prop Jet

To measure for the balance point, do as the picture in the manual? The wing is mounted, the fake intake installed and then
measure back from the exposed point on the leading edge?

In other...

RE: H9 Jackal 50 Prop Jet

I removed the Red from the cowl. Use isopropyl alcohol. Don't use CaDebond - fingernail polish remover as it will attack the White.
Once removed, got a surprise. They sanded the White under the Red...

RE: H9 Jackal 50 Prop Jet

If you use a marker to outline the cowl cutout, and you use isopropyl alcohol to remove the marker, you will also remove
the red paint. No big deal. I'm going to repaint mine with Red Lipstick....

RE: H9 Jackal 50 Prop Jet

Hopefully Horizon can come up with a solution.

Otherwise, I'm looking at stripping the paint, repainting with two colors while trying to match
the Fuse. It will irritate me.

RE: H9 Jackal 50 Prop Jet

Check the Clevis on the elevator split push rod. I can pull one of them off.
One side measures 1.94, the other 2.05. I'll have to fabricate something different.

Any ideas about the Cowl paint...
