RE: Hangar 9 Twist 3D Part II - Thread Continuation

Well, It's true; at full throttle the engine winds too fast, maybe 11500rpm. I don't EPA-down the throttle, just don't go full too much. I wonder how different the 13X4"W" (wide) is from the 13X4 I'm...

RE: Hangar 9 Twist 3D Part II - Thread Continuation

Well, I don't know...
I've got that set-up and mine will hold still.

I use 15% Powermaster. I tried the 20% synthetic and the idle was never "right". It did run faster, though. Back to the...

Prop Recommendation

Hey Guys,

What are you using to hover a Saito .72 (15% nitro) on your T-T? I've been running an APC 13X6 but that's fast and sport plane. Seems like ground clearance...

RE: Hangar 9 Twist 3D Part II - Thread Continuation

I don't know if you feel like more work but on my .72 I rotated the carb 180 degrees so that the high-end adjustment was oposite from the muffler. For you to acomplish that you would need to move...

RE: Hangar 9 Twist 3D Part II - Thread Continuation

Had my first experience flying a Twist, this morning. Wow, very responsive. I came from a low-wing trainer, having done some aerobatics with it. I dialed-in the rates and I'll have to get used to it....

RE: Hangar 9 Twist 3D Part II - Thread Continuation

The assembly manual for the Twist ARF .40 specs 8-32 X 1/2 for the gear. You said 10-24. Are youreferring to aa larger plane than the .40 size?

Also, for a Saito .72, I think I need to drill-out...

RE: Hangar 9 Twist 3D Part II - Thread Continuation

Hi,
I'm new to this thread. It looks great! Just a couple of questions;

My first T-t is nearly finished (.40 ARF). I'm installing a Saito .72 .How about a prop size suggestion? I usually run...
