I did it for christmas ! Got my brand new DX3.0 DSM ,and I can say now I don't worry anymore about loss of control of my SV,no more glitches,it's perfect[8D] Just had to add 200$ more in the boat....

Yep ! supposed to be Rtr....but not really! I had severe radio issues with mine and had to replace the poor stock radio before I get the boat crashed... and the water jacket issue too,that's quite a...

Can't give you pics right now,but when I replace the stock jacket I'll show you. Actually,you have to turn inside out the jacket and check that all the holes are free from any obstructing stuff .

I checked the stock silicon water jacket's inside circulating holes and I found some issues...

For my part I would say save your money and buy right now quality batteries with a good charger.I use GP4300 and IB 4200. The IBs are by far the best batteries I've ever used at...

Thanks for your help.
In my case I only run 6 cells batteries and have many more issues using 4200 instead of 3300.And,sure they draw much more current than the 3300.
What are the tips to reduce...

You run your SV27 with a spektrum radio ? What about the Rx ? It's not a factor that Rx small antennas don't come out of the radio box or the boat ?
Someone could lend me it's spektrum DX6 to try...

Of course , but despite the cost fact with RTR packages, in my opinion when you get a boat around 6 lbs heavy able of 40mph or more ,it's no longer a toy and it may hurt or be dangerous running...
