RE: Dumas Deep Vee kits- how are they, what hardware?

Hi Birel,
You should be able to put those plans I gave you onto a CD and take them to a printer/copier service and they should be able to print them out full size.

I heard it's a decent boat, have not seen any run in heavy conditions though. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_4718942/mpage_1/key_woody/tm.htm

Another option is the Woody 47, it's not a kit, but the plans have been hopping around here for a while. I had someone send them to me, looks like a neat boat for me to take a shot at a bit later on.

Apparently, the one that Birel19 posted a link to is the same one you have.... same size and you have the .67 OPS engine in it. Acouple threads later you said how it was too much motor for it.

RE: Dumas Deep Vee kits- how are they, what hardware?

Your'e on LOL, with the right engine and set-up any well built boat can "hang with any boat". But when you get up into the 50' and 60's, things change a bit and a normally well running boat can...

RE: Dumas Deep Vee kits- how are they, what hardware?

Dumas is in a different class..... they are more into first - timers and fun boats....nothing real serious. Don't get me wrong, they do make great kits, but just not for top-end racing.
