RE: Super Tune Your Super Vee 27

All my runs are over 200-300 yards/meters. I was just making the point that a personal GPS would serve you more in the long run. I've never seen anyone on a go-cart aiming a radar gun as they drive...

The Garmin Forterunner101 GPS is 2 ounces in weight and was $83.00 online. Runs 18hrs on a set of AAA's. And, it's hands free :D to run the boat.

Sits nicely...

RE: Super Tune Your Super Vee 27

Here's the turn fin/rudder angle pics from the loose high speed runs yesterday. These are not the setting for stability for sure. I need to set them all back to neutral.

Rudder seems to be...

RE: Super Tune Your Super Vee 27

Thinking back here too, 2 of my latest 'flips' may in fact have been rolls. The speed on the last turn over was so fast that the boat submarined and popped back up like 2-3 sec later. I was...

RE: Super Tune Your Super Vee 27

New runs. Was able to get in 20 minutes of time on the lake and only flipped the boat 3 times. Handling was way loose on both runs on 14c-EL4500's. I have the trim tabs up too much but it started...

Nearly best top speed and handling is best. No cavatation and up on plane damn fast! Good for both 12cell and 14cell packs.

If...

RE: Super Tune Your Super Vee 27

I'll end up watching the boat round the corner and BOOM click BOOM! Poof! and water spray explosion!

Then some old country boy waving his double barrel walks on over and says to me, 'Dangest...
