I never looked into it...

RE: SV27 Battery Thread

I also like the idea of having a 2300mah set, with 2 sets of 4600's. Would be a good mix. I edited the 15min charge times (Did the math wrong when I was figuring out you could have 1 pack on each...

RE: SV27 Battery Thread

If you could swing $600 for 2 Kits  you would have 2 chargers (Backup) and only 30 min down time...... could almost run back to back to back to back....... with 2 sets. And setting for 45A and...

RE: SV27 Battery Thread

Good God man! This is exciting news and worthy opening a savings account, I would be willing to pay well for the ability to 5min recharge and run insane amounts of time on larger electrics. I really...

RE: SV27 Battery Thread

That sounds reasonable to me, if the new cell tech is just around the corner for the end users like Hobbyist, I can wait. Still have 4 sets of new NiMH to use up this Spring/Summer.

:D Spring...

RE: SV27 Battery Thread

Making the move to 8000mah packs seems imminent for me.

I suggest just sealing the Lipo packs in large Shrink wrap with a section of sponge at both ends. That will give a 'bumper' for shock to...

RE: SV27 Battery Thread

Since I replaced the cooked cell in one of my 7c-EL4500 packs, the batteries run a lot cooler. Guess that bad cell was loading the whole pack and turning it into a heating element. -WL
