Glad to hear you're focussing on the Elan. It's the best overall value in the line IMO. Flies well on anything from 70 to 120n turbine, easy to land , very aerobatic.

A buddy of mine built one last year and said he had to cut the outer wing tubes out of the booms and re-glue them in straight. I'm not sure if he had the same problem as you as I never saw any pics...

I'm going to put a B100F in mine. 27 lbs thrust, low fuel consumption, and not much bigger/heavier than a Rabbit/100 size turbine.

I know of 2 Elans with P120's and another with a PST 1300. All required trimming of he rails to fit the bigger can. I just picked up a new Élan and am going thru the which engine debate right now.
