Go to your neighborhood toy store or Walmart and look at the Super Soaker type water guns. Many different sizes and shapes of pressure tanks that can be used with some modifications.

Yes this was the last year for that Thrush. Last year (2008) was the 20th anniversary so "any old plane was allowed " no matter the number of times it had appeared. The rule has now gone to 5 years...

Most common engine on a full scale Ag Cat is a P&W R-985 with 9 cylinders. Either of those would surely sound good though!

You'll have a problem finding engine parts for a true 1/4 scale Thrush, the Williams brothers parts are for the 450HP P&W 985's so they work at a "smaller" scale for the 600HP P&W 1340's on...

Thanks, I have one more year that I can use this Thrush in Master's class at Top Gun with the latest rule changes. You may see it again in TG '09 coverage. Rather nice to win the 20th anniversary...

Maybe because he (I) won it all in '08! Werner and Frank always always do an excellent job with the Propwash Top Gun Videos, I highly recommend them all, even the years I didn't win.
