Pull the blue plastic off and use the template sheet with the stick and other things. It's at the bottom, it says "Template for Gunsight glass. Cut from thin clear plastic sheet."

Don't sweat the gauges, they will look fine and do the way you have them.

You must cut the cockpit out before you glue in the ply formers, the fuselage is plenty strong.

Remember that not all details need to be painted, you can use a fine tip felt marker to draw on small lines.

What part of the cockpit do you need help with? For cutting the fuselage use the drawings that come with the kit, once the formers are installed it just drops in.

When the tail wheel is on the ground and you can apply some up elevator you have positive control. It's when the speed increases and especially when the tail comes up that the problems start. I think...

That is not a true statement. The further forward the main gear are positioned ahead of the CG the greater the tendency the aircraft has to ground loop. To far forward and it can be almost impossible...
