Thanks for the info Grim, glad you're still keeping an eye on us...

When I look at the bottom of the rudder I see the hole you mention is filled with black material.
How far in is it filled...

That's great info Ben, thanks !!

Basically it says, yes, if we sharpen the trailing edge drag is decreased. BUT propwalk is counteracted less.
So in order to run straight yopu may have to run...

I wonder if it would it make sense to sharpen the trailing edge of the turn fins as well as the leading edge...
(keeping the speed decrease to a minimum)
Theoretically it should certainly help...

Nice job !
Does this mean no more hatch taping altogether or does water still seep through should the boat become submerged for a while ?
I suppose you could take the electrics out and test this...

The accuracy is a maximum error margin, sometimes its remarkebly accurate as in your example, my example was worst case scenario.

Why is GPS more accurate than radar ?
In SAW contests radar is used (for obvious reasons...), but what I'm trying is to say is that I don't think speed measurement gets more accurate than by using...
