i thought stock gearing is 16/45 which would make 16/49 shorter gearing than stock?? i was having a tiny bit of cogging and some heat with 16/49 gearing... wouldn't 19/45 make the cogging and heat...

i threw in the gh4700 last time at the track with 16/49 gearing... which was a little tall still, it definetly had a little more torque than the vr3 but it was a little harder to drive and had about...

i noticed a bigger difference when i put a micro servo in the car compared to the graphite chassis... don't expect huge weight savings... im trying to get my detta to be unbeatable in stock 1/18...

hey thanks junebug... i actually already ordered the 6x10's from towerhobbies, panther makes them, and i got the 8x12's from www.avidrc.com avid was all out of the 6x10's

i havent gotten them...

yeah your gonna have to tell us if it overheats or not... not many people have the st yet... im not sure what the gearing is like in the st... if its similar to the vendetta, then its geared a little...

the only other company id buy would be MIP.. and they are quite expensive as well.... basically if you want a bulletproof vendetta, you have to pay top $$$ if you want to replace broken parts get...

very true, all the duratrax upgrades are expensive... aluminum knuckles, tierods turnbucles, steel cvds, ball diffs, together cost almoast as much as the rtr car

thats a cool mod, but the aluminum knuckles work very nice, and they are not much heavyer than stock

the stock motor, the vr3 and the stock esc all the hot when you have a 1200 mah pack or more.. this can be fixed by lowering the gearing... but i assumed you only have the stock pinion and spur.

in my opinion, the car gets hot pretty fast.... especially when you have a better battery and deans connectors

get the mini quake heat sink and watch out for heat... both on your motor and esc. if you hit things you will need aluminum knuckes. you might want to think about ball diffs and steel cvds...

i run the brushed duratrax vr3.... its fast enough to clear the doubles and sometimes triples on our 1/10 scale track out here and its also just as fast as most cars on the straight

for racing you need good brakes... so you need a forward only esc...

i agree, the duratrax packs are great, i have 3 ib1400's and 1 duratrax yellow pack... and i still use the duratrax pack in the rotation cause it has just as much power and runtime as the...
