I agree, there remains some interest in airboats, witness the RTR offerings. RCAW was a great gathering place for fans and a wonderful resource. Someone should pick up the ball, if not a website...

I’m not sure how you calculated the results posted, but PropCalc* shows closer to 6500 grams of static thrust and 2200 watts of mechanical power with my best guess of your components and a 10x8 prop....
